Parmentier Observatory-A Brief History
The NPMAS is fortunate to have access to the largest permanently mounted amateur owned telescope in the state of Wisconsin. Parmentier Observatory, which is located east of Green Bay is owned and operated by founding club member Ron Parmentier.
The observatory currently houses a thirty inch classical Cassegrain telescope. From spring through fall, club members are welcome any time. However, there are several designated "Parmentier Observatory Weekends" in which members and their guests are encouraged to attend.
Below you will find a very brief pictorial history of Parmentier Observatory. Club members using this sight have full access to the complete history and current events. Want to learn more about Parmentier Observatory for yourself? Join the NPMAS today!
